Hurricanes Laura and Delta had a devastating impact on our community, school, and our student athletes. Your support will help to cover the costs necessary to rebuild our facilities and ensure that our athletes get the proper equipment to help them perform at the highest level.
Your donation will go towards the athletic equipment, uniforms, travel, food, and rebuilding of athletic facilities at McNeese State University. Donations are vital for the success of our students and the future of our Track and Field / Cross Country programs. Donations will receive a tax deductible email receipt.
The McNeese Track and Field Program has prided itself on funding the program from within the organization by hosting multiple events throughout the year. We typically host up to 12 plus events in Cross Country, Indoors and Outdoor season. March 2020 put a halt to all of this due to COVID-19.
In August of 2020, the program was hit hard by a category 4 hurricane, Laura. Then 45 days later, we were hit again by a category 3 hurricane, Delta, leaving the program in disarray. Our facilities and equipment were severely damaged which have put a complete halt to our home season.
Our community, which was our lifeline for support, is struggling. So the program is reaching out to ask for support to help. Suggested giving levels are listed on the right side of this page. However, donations of any amount are accepted and appreciated.
